A combination of hardwood, softwood and engineered wood products are kiln or air dried to ensure the integrity of the frame. Joints are double dowelled, stapled or screwed and glued at points of stress for maximum strength where applicable. All frames are certified sustainable and locally made.

Arms and body are upholstered separately and bolted together at the end of the process.

8-gauge standard sinuous heat-tempered springs are used. This anchors the system to the frame, preventing spring sway and distributes weight equally. ½” sisal is then used to cover the springs.

Propex lining is used to insulate the back of the frame.

The frame is then fully padded with ½” foam to achieve a smooth finish. This also creates a barrier between the wood and cover chosen (fabric or leather).

Gel Seat Cushion (Medium-Soft Firmness)
Soy-based, 2.2 gel infused foam core is wrapped in polyester fibre. This cushion will have a tailored look with good recovery.

High Resiliency Seat Cushion (Medium-Soft Firmness)
Soy-based, 2.2 gel infused, high resiliency foam core seat cushion wrapped in soft foam. This cushion will have a tailored look with optimal recovery.

Synthetic Down-Fill (Medium-Soft Firmness)
Soy-based, 2.2 gel infused foam core is wrapped in polyester fibre. It is then surrounded with eco-friendly synthetic-down fill which is made from recycled plastic water bottles. The fill is evenly distributed throughout sewn interior pockets which provide maximum comfort. The eco-friendly fill also makes this cushion hypoallergenic.

Feather Blend Cushion (Medium-Soft Firmness)
Soy-based, 2.2 gel infused foam core is wrapped in polyester fibre and surrounded with a blend of 50% polyester fibre, 45% feather, and 5% down.

Back Cushions

Polyester fill
Polyester fibre is encased in a channeled synthetic cloth to reduce shifting of fill material and maintain better shape retention.

Feather Blend Back Cushion fill
A blend of 50% polyester fibre, 45% feather, and 5% down encased in a synthetic cloth.

Synthetic Blend Back Cushion fill
Synthetic down-fill is made from recycled plastic water bottles and encased in a synthetic cloth.

All fabrics and leathers are reviewed by our expert staff and cut by hand to ensure the best final result.

Accent pillows are not included unless specified in the catalog. Any pillows included are made in the same fabric chosen for the sofa.
