The Linea Design Furniture Inc. warranty does not apply to any furniture that has been abused or used in a business environment and/or for commercial purposes. This warranty does not apply to any defects caused by improper cleaning, alterations, contact with sharp or rough objects, fading due to sun exposure, or contact with any foreign substances. Any product that is sold in a “distressed” or “as is” condition, purchased from a retailer, purchased from a reseller that is not authorized by Linea Design Furniture Inc. will not be covered under this warranty.
Frames & springs are under warranty to be free from manufacturing defects for the life of the product.
All cushions are under warranty for a period of 5 years from manufacturing defects and against any loss of foam resiliency. It is normal for all cushions to soften with normal use and aging and should not be confused with loss of foam resiliency. To maximize the shape preservation and warranty, it is important to flip and rotate the cushions on a regular basis.
It is common for feather wrapped cushions to flatten, wrinkle, and soften, therefore it is important to fluff the cushions on a regular basis. Although the cushions are encased in a down-proof cover, feathers are likely to poke through from time to time. This is normal and is not considered a defect.
Synthetic-down wrapped cushions are likely to, over time, flatten, wrinkle and soften. This is normal, always ensure to fluff cushions on a regular basis.
Swivel mechanisms are under warranty to be free from any manufacturing defects for 1 year. Leaning will cause the swivel mechanism to bend and in turn result in malfunction. This is not covered under any warranty.
Fabrics are under warranty against seam slippage, fraying, and dye transfer, but only if cleaning follows the industry standard methods. This warranty does not cover wrinkling, fading, pilling, or fabric that has been treated with a dealer. We recommend regular maintenance to prolong fabric life; which includes regular vacuuming and professional cleaning. Direct sunlight can cause the fabric to fade, therefore, reducing the amount of direct sunlight is key. All COM (Customer’s Own Material) is excluded from our warranty.
Leathers are under warranty against seam slippage, but only if cleaning follows the industry standard methods. This warranty does not cover peeling, cracking, tearing, wrinkling, fading, or tackiness. Leather is a natural product, which may display differences in colour and texture. We recommend regular maintenance to prolong leather life; which includes regular vacuuming and professional cleaning. All leathers are sensitive to direct sunlight, therefore reducing the amount of direct sunlight is key.
To request service under this warranty, contact the authorized Linea Design Furniture Inc. Retailer from whom you purchased your Linea Design Furniture from. The retailer will, in turn, contact us. Certain defects may be repaired in your home with our authorization. If the repair cannot be completed in your home, arrangements must be made with the retailer to transport the furniture to our factory. Linea Design Furniture’s Warranty does not include any costs for transporting to or from your home or the retail location.
Certain information is required to process a request for service. We suggest that you keep your sales receipt and all permanent documentation. Without proper validation of the furniture the warranty will not be valid.
